Emma Pestugia
Born in 1997, Emma Pestugia is currently studying piano with Maestro Massimiliano Ferrati.
Emma attended the Artistic Master course at the Talent Music Master Courses in Brescia since 2019 with Maestro Andrea Bonatta.
Also since 2019, she perfected her piano technique at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, attending the Chamber Music course held by Maestro Carlo Fabiano.
In December 2019 Emma graduated with honors at the three-year Academic Course at Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice, under the guidance of Prof. Isabella Lo Porto.
A fundraising: why?
Emma’s talent allows her to access different training courses today and her passion pushes her tenaciously to discover the value of her potential in music.
In 2020 Emma hopes to collect € 5.500, in order to face this challenging training path without being extenuated by economical difficulties. The family fully supports her in this project, but the opportunities she’s offered today are numerous and with those precious commitments come also higher costs.

Graduated with honors at the Academic Triennial Course at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice under the guidance of Prof. Isabella Lo Porto, Emma was a finalist in the 8th YPN – Young Pianist of the North competition in 2015. She won the First Prize at the 2016 Grand Prize International Music Competition in Vienna.
She is one of the winners of the 26th edition of the IBLA Grand Prize, also obtaining the “Prokofiev Special Mention”, and the “Alberto Giol Piano Prize” in 2018 and 2019, held among the best students of the Venice Conservatory. She got a Special Award at the IX edition of the New Pianist Cup of Osimo, which allowed her to perform in the prestigious Teatro la Nuova Fenice.
She attended more than twenty national and international competitions including the Albenga International Competition, the Camillo Togni International Competition in Gussago, the Salieri International Competition in Legnago, the Carlo Vidusso International Competition in Milan, the Piove di Sacco National Competition, the “Vito Competition Frazzi “in Florence, Piano Competition” Young Musicians “in Venice, International Competition of Musile di Piave, National Competition” Val di Sole “in Trento.
Emma performed solo recitals at the invitation of prestigious concert seasons such as the Fondazione La Società dei Concerti in Milan, Emilia Romagna Concerts, Florio di Favignana Festival, “Friday at the mountain” in Vicenza, Asolo Musica, Amici della Musica of Venice, Note Future, the Music with Wings Association.
She played as a soloist with the Cesare Pollini Conservatory Orchestra of Padua and the Concentus Musicis Patavinus Orchestra.
Emma participated in the masterclasses of great artists such as Andrea Bonatta, Andrea Lucchesini, Benedetto Lupo, Lilya Zilberstein and Filippo Gamba.
